This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Van Ness students are innately curious and imaginative. They are always ready to explore new concepts through integrating visual art and movement.

This year they need more drying racks to hold their beautiful masterpieces safely.

They need geometrics shapes to explore math concepts. The wall paint will help them to create murals that will allow them to explore their culture and identity in new innovative ways. The oil pastels will support them to create mixed media projects. Currently, our oil pastels are broken in tiny pieces and are very difficult to use.
