Munching on Coding

Help me give my students the opportunity to continue their coding adventures. Our K-2 students will be able to have hands-on coding experience with Sammy the codeable sandwich.

My Students

Our students have a true passion for learning with technology. We are located in Mooresville, NC. Our school Our school includes Pre-K through 5th. Our students experience the hour of code each year through the website code.org. They are eager to learn how to program and code. As the technology teacher,​ I would love to bring their programming and coding to life.

The materials in we have requested will ignite the excitement in my students.

I would love for them to have this wonderful opportunity! This current project would allow my younger students to experience hands-on coding.

My Project

At our school, we offer every student K-5 the opportunity to learn how to code. We are in need of hands-on coding activities for our K-2 students. Being able to see how coding works will assist our students in being able to transfer what they learn from the hands-on activities to the computer-based computer programming. The requested materials will assist our younger learners in how to sequence their coding, loop their program, and much more. Also,​ the graphite pencils requested will allow our older students, 3-5 to continue to learn programming through our onsite Makey-Makey. The pencils with higher graphite will be used with their Makey-Makey to program video games.
