My Project
Our snack drawer is running low and needs to be replenished! Many of my students are in need of basic necessities throughout the day like food and water. I like to keep them well fed and hydrated so that they are able to maintain their energy and focus throughout the day. Feeling hungry should be the last thing on their minds and I want to support their growth and development. The listed snacks are foods that my students enjoy. They will prevent crankiness, irritability, and concentration difficulties that come with being hungry. These snacks will provide a quick source of energy at recesses to help them stay alert in class between mealtimes (breakfast-lunch and lunch-dinner). I have also listed additional items to replenish our treasure box (incentive system)!
