My Project
I am hoping to enhance my students' learning by using multisensory supplies in our small group for reading and math. Science has shown that when multiple senses are activated during the learning process, what is being taught sticks. I work with students whose learning is impacted, so this type of instruction is extremely beneficial to them. They will be excited to use sand trays, erasable tablets (which are not electronic), and colorful pens for their practice. For math, the hands on learning with manipulatives will support their understanding of concepts that may be harder to grasp.
