My Project
We are in need of sensory activities that encourage and support various types of development and skills including language development, cognitive development, fine motor skills, and socialization skills such as teamwork and turn-taking. This year with a wide array of students struggling with fine motor skills, I feel the need for activities that foster the use of these skills. With these activities several groups of students will benefit from them.
One of our classroom goals is to show growth in handwriting and oral language by the end of the school year.
One of the main tools that helps with handwriting is having a strong fine motor skill toolbox filled with activities to strengthen them.
