Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My 4th-grade students are bright, curious, and eager to grow. They come to class each day with a desire to learn, ask thoughtful questions, and embrace challenges with determination. I love watching their eyes light up when they solve a tricky problem or make connections between concepts. Their creativity and resilience inspire me daily.
To help them succeed, we need a variety of hands-on math materials and tools, including fraction tiles, building blocks, and math games.
These resources will transform abstract math concepts into tangible experiences. For example, fraction tiles will help students visualize part-whole relationships, while Math games will reinforce skills through collaboration and play, making learning both effective and fun.
By incorporating these interactive tools, my students will build stronger problem-solving skills, gain confidence in their abilities, and develop a deeper understanding of essential math concepts. These materials will not only support struggling learners but will also challenge those ready to extend their thinking.
