This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach in one of the most underserved communities in the Bronx, and in four weeks, we will be holding a math competition in my classroom. Many of my students lack access to devices or internet at home, so I’m looking for ways to help them practice their multiplication facts. We will be having a multiplication competition, and I would love to provide students with multiplication games to practice at home with their families. Additionally, I am seeking gold medals for all students who participate, as well as special medals for the winners.
