My students need individual multiplication and division wraps to improve their skills. This will allow them to learn their facts at their speed with confidence!
I would love all my students to have mastered their multiplication and division facts by the end of this year! However, some students are only able to practice at school, therefore I need more resources to excite them then just flashcards. With these resources, I know my students will succeed!
The majority of my students come from low income families that are trying to help the best way possible.
I have the sweetest students that want to share, help, and feel successful inside the classroom. My students are learning how to be organized and self determined to become college bound with the help of AVID!
I work in an amazing school that would do anything for our students. We believe that every child is smart and can be successful with the right mindset and resources! However, our school is very big and just seems to be growing every school year, therefore our funding for such items as these are becoming very limited.
My Project
With the multiplication and division wrap ups, the students would be able to use them as a center activity. They would be able to use the CD at that time to learn the wrap songs too while practicing in a small group setting. I would also like the wrap ups to be used during transitions. For example, my class takes a whole classroom restroom break. These would be great to take with us while waiting in line. This would keep minds active and disruptions to a minimum all the while being proactive in our learning!
Donations to this project will help improve my classroom by allowing my students to use more hands on activities for learning.
Students truly learn by doing and being proactive and not just memorizing. This will change my students lives for the better, because if they make a mistake, it's not in front of their peers and they can try again without feeling ashamed! So many minds with shut down if embarrassed, and this project will help eliminate that type of response.
