My Project

The students and new teachers I support need resources to help guide the inclusion of marginalized groups into our history and civics standards. I am asking for presentation materials as well as childrens books/middle school books to help me give students information and stories from all the perspectives that are present in the Colorado standards for Civics and History. These books will give us a place to start our planning for lessons and give students books to help them see themselves in our history and civics--other than the textbook that is one person's point of view.
