This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In today's diverse and multicultural society, dual language programs have multilingual students. They provide students with the opportunity to become proficient in two languages while fostering cross-cultural understanding. We want students to explore reading in both languages during their reading group time.

As part of an effort to enhance the learning environment for students in a dual-language classroom, the creation of dedicated reading nook can play a pivotal role.

This project aims to establish a cozy and inviting space where students can engage in independent reading, language immersion, and cultural exploration.
