Multiculturalism, History, and Art Make a Happy Well-Rounded Classroom
Help me give my students the gift of color and creativity with multicultural crayons, bulk markers for art projects, dry-erase markers for math, and Teacher Pay Teachers resources for a new year in 6th Grade.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am requesting Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards for project-based learning projects that are digitally created for online instruction. This year my students are in 6th grade and are learning about World History topics like the Ancient Egyptians, the Roman Empire, and Greek Civilization to name a few. These materials will make learning more engaging for my students. By donating to this project, I can purchase interactive projects that are designed to make learning interesting. The student outcome is that students will learn about the past using the curriculum purchased through the Teachers pay Teachers gift card. I can choose materials for my students to like Google Classroom quizzes, projects, slide shows, Kahoot games, and more. My students will be able to access these programs on their Chromebooks.
Multiculturalism is a huge part of my classroom, and we embrace everyone's rich cultures and traditions.
We need a class set of skin color crayons for our self-portraits and other art projects throughout the year. Lastly, you are providing wipe board markers and regular markers that are needed for projects and for our daily learning.
