My Students
My students are a diverse, multicultural, inquisitive, hard-working, loving, and all-around special bunch. As a SETTS teacher, I work with both general education and special education students.
My students are all eager to learn and they learn best through using hands-on interactive materials, as well as the basic essential tools needed for every productive classroom.
I love to watch their eyes light up when they learn something new and when they're actively engaged. My heart skips a beat when they are active participants in their learning. I am always looking for new and challenging ways to engage them. My goal is for all of my students to reach their learning goals while enjoying what they learn.
My Project
Now more than ever we are embracing beautifully told stories, especially from different cultures. These kits include stories of all cultures. From Native American, to India these stories immerse children in cultures around the world. Its important for students to be able to make a connection and be able to see themselves in a story. These kits will help do just that! They are also super engaging! They come with prompts that can help kids be engaged throughout the read. They can also help in teaching skills like sequential order and story elements!
