My Project

Storytime is one of our favorite times of the day during preschool! Our students love to listen to and read books both independently and with the whole group. Our preschool students come from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. The majority of our class are people of color and many of our students are immigrants.

It's so important for our students to see themselves represented in the stories we read!

The books in this project were specifically chosen with our students in mind. We chose books so that all of our students will be able to people like themselves in the stories, as well as people who are different from them. Reading diversely expands our students' view of the world. By contributing to our project, you will help our students grow in love and literacy!
