Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My classroom is full of amazing students from different cultures. They bring unique views and experiences to our lessons. I love their excitement for learning and their desire to be creative. What's truly special is how they embrace each other's differences.
These materials will let students see themselves in their artwork.
This boosts self-esteem and cultural awareness. My goal is to encourage inclusive creativity and deepen cultural understanding.
The multicultural art supplies I'm asking for will make a big difference:
• Crayola Colors of the World crayons: Students can draw themselves and their classmates accurately.
• Multicultural construction paper: Provides a range of skin tones for art projects.
• Colorful feathers: Adds texture to art, helping with sensory skills.
With these supplies, every student will feel valued. They'll create art that celebrates our classroom's diversity. This project will help my students:
• Express their identities
• Learn about other cultures
• Build empathy
• Feel part of our classroom community
Through art, we'll grow together and appreciate our differences.
