This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Please help me by making my students feel that our school library media center is inclusive. I want to have a library that makes them want to read more books that include various backgrounds and more characters that represent people that look like them. My students are loving, and get very excited to see characters that look or act like them in stories! This collection will allow me, as the librarian, to include activities and books that make my students feel welcome and represented in our community and our room.
