Multicultural Library for New Whole Building Reading Initiative
Help me give my students a multicultural library! I would like to offer a multicultural library so that students can see their backgrounds represented and learn about others' cultures as well.

My Project
My English Language Development department would like to create a cozy reading center that offers a multicultural library, so that students can see their backgrounds represented and learn about others' cultures as well. Our whole building is participating in a reading initiative in which teachers select a theme and create a reading center. During independent reading time, students will be able to select a theme that interests them and travel there for reading time. This library will be great for my English learners but also the entire student body as well. This project aims to get kids excited about reading!
