My Project

My students come from a variety of backgrounds, cultures, religions, and socioeconomic statuses and are able to create an amazing classroom community full of support, connection and respect.

These books will help my students experience different holidays and cultures around the world and that are celebrated in our own community.

We will read them as a class and complete activities and projects for each holiday throughout the school year.

It is amazing to watch my students find common ground in the classroom. Being able to provide a safe, inclusive, and calm environment in which my students can learn and grow is vital to their learning and futures.
