Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
These students run the Multicultural Empowerment Club, Black Student Union, and Asian Pacific Islander Association. While they host events for the whole school, we would like to take some time to honor their work in building community through diversity initiatives on the school campus.
To support these students, help us throw a cultural graduation celebration for these seniors!
Our hope is to gift each student with a special cultural stole and provide them with decorated caps that our underclassmen and other club officers can put together for them. These seniors are attending UC San Diego, UC Berkeley, UC Santa Cruz, and other colleges in the Fall. Help us celebrate their success!
