This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come from different backgrounds where language is respected and appreciated in my classroom. Being able to learn a new language while maintaining their home language brings challenges when in a new country. Finding resources in that student's home language that are engaging and accessible is difficult. These materials will be accessible in the classroom so students can utilize digital tools, resources, or materials easily. The materials I am intending to use will help those students who need that extra support with school work as they are learning a new language while maintaining their home language.
