This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Dear Donors, help me give my students the book titled Brown Skin, Curly Hair, I love Being Me! to foster a sense of pride and to boost their self esteem. Students in diverse classrooms get a boost of self-esteem whey they read or hear books in which their cultures or ethnicities are represented and celebrated.
Furthermore, my students need markers and Kwik Stix to draw self portraits and portraits of their families.
Additionally my students need play dough to strengthen their fine motor skills which is needed for writing in the upper grades.
Together these resources will support my student's learning abilities and learning necessities. Thank you for your donation.
