Multicultural Books for the Vending Machine

Help me give my students books they will love for the book vending machine.

My Project

At our school, students who display positive behavior each month earn a token to retrieve a book from the school's book vending machine. Currently these books are not on topics that students will love. The book are also not multicultural, books by and about people of color. So, I am requesting books on the most requested topics... Minecraft, Barbie, and basketball. All of these books include characters of color which are more relatable to our student population. Some of the books are Step-into-Reading books which are books easy enough for younger students to read. Other books are chapter books for our upper grade students.

Let's feed the book vending machine with multicultural books!

Putting Barbie and African-American books into the school's book vending machine will motivate students to display positive behavior throughout the school year.
