Multicultural Books for My Multicultural Students!

Help me give my students multicultural books for our class library! I'd like to include more books in my library that reflects the population of Oakland.

My Project

My students go to school in Oakland's Chinatown and are a very diverse population. This year's class includes students whose families Chinese, Japanese, Eritrean, Turkish, Mongolian, African-American and mixed race. Their friends in other classes have families who are from South and Central America, Nigeria, Vietnam, Nepal, and many other countries. I'd like to have a more diverse array of multicultural books to reflect the cultures of our students and of our population here in Oakland. Stories in books are by far one of the best ways to expand the understanding of young minds.
