Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work in a low-income area with a diverse population of students. Therefore, I want all of my students to feel there is a representation of them in my classroom library. Furthermore, every student should be exposed to racial and cultural diversity to support normalizing differences.
Unfortunately, there are many books in our classroom right now that I am purging because my students need quality content along with diversity among characters. Please help me support this crucial vision by contributing to much-needed high-quality literature for my classroom. I know my students will be overjoyed to see our library filled with new books.
