Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are learning about different cultures and diversity in the classroom and it would be nice for them to be able to experience different costumes and have exposure to different ethnicity dolls. The dramatic play area is my students favorite area and it promotes social skills, literacy, and self help skills. Many of my students need help socializing with other peers in the classroom and by providing these costumes and dolls it helps students engage with their peers and help with developing play skills. My students are special because we have different cultural backgrounds and its an inclusive preschool classroom.
