My Project
My students are unique learners. Some learn through touch, where others learn better with their vision. No matter how they learn, they all have the ability to acquire knowledge.

This quote simply states that each child has the potential to learn, but in their own way. My students change year to year. I have found throughout my teaching career that children learn best with what interests them.
I'm asking for a variety of items. Some of the items are great for teaching children cause and effect learning. Other items are for the tactile learners who need to experience learning through touching the objects. Jumbo stones that have feelings etched out will teach a child who is visually impaired how a happy person's smile feels like or how a sad person's frown feels like. Also, children who learn through their sight (visual learners) can benefit from sensory tubes. Watching sensory tubes can help encourage students to be engaged in learning.
No matter how the children learn, they all are learning at their own pace. Our job is to help encourage children to learn and grow. This just marks the beginning of their journey!
