My Project
My Students
Our classroom is a vibrant community of 6th-grade scholars with diverse learning needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and sensory processing challenges.
Many of our students come from low-income households, and our school is designated as a Title I institution. Despite the obstacles they face, our students exhibit resilience, curiosity, and a genuine eagerness to learn.
My Project:
To enhance our learning environment and better support our students' needs, we are seeking funding for the following items:
• Cooling Fan: To regulate classroom temperature, ensuring a comfortable setting conducive to focus and learning.
• Ergonomic Chairs: Providing proper seating to support posture and reduce discomfort during extended learning periods.
• Sensory Supplies: Including fidget tools, weighted lap pads, and tactile materials to assist students in self-regulation and maintaining attention.
These resources will create a more inclusive and supportive classroom, allowing each student to thrive academically and emotionally.
