Multi-Modal Way of Teaching!

My Students

The love of learning begins at a very early age! My classroom is full of very active little learners. Our children attend a Title I school that is located in an urban, high-poverty community, where 96% of the students are economically disadvantaged.

The majority of my students are either homeless or come from single-parent homes, which causes them to have limited access to everyday learning materials.

It is hurtful to say that so many of them have been through much more in their short 3-5 years than any of us could ever imagine. Even with that being said, they somehow find a way to come to school every day eager and ready to learn.

My Project

The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding in authentic reading, math, music and movement. It is my opinion that an outlook on learning with a projector screen will help students greatly as they use remote learning from home.

The projector will offer ways of reaching students differently than the four walls of a classroom.

A projector will allow me to interact with students in a multi-modal way and allow me to provide more entertaining ways to teach, upload lessons, and upload objectives, while reaching students in different ways.
