My Students
We are NYC students currently learning at home. We love to meet each day on the google meet and see one another. We have been working in all subject areas.
Given the current events in our country it is important that my students have books in our classroom that represent who they are.
My Project
In our current world it is now more important than ever that children feel represented in the books in our classroom library. These books will help students to see and learn about children who look like they do. These books will also help them to see children who do not look like they do. This is the first step in helping children grow up open minded and not looking at the color of another child's skin.
We need new books! Children love to read and they love to see themselves in the books they are reading.
