My Project
Students with special needs can have increased problems with their vision especially autistic students, students with Down syndrome, and students with cerebral palsy. These are exactly the students that I serve in my speech therapy room and many times I am not sure they are seeing what is on my laptop very well.
I want to make our lessons better and more engaging!
I only have one 15" laptop to use with my students and often I see students in groups of 3 or 4 in my therapy room. I love to take them on virtual field trips and watch engaging videos on YouTube to help them practice their communication skills. It would be awesome to be able to make sure they are having the best educational experience and that they can see effectively with using a bigger monitor with excellent clarity and color.
