My Project
Big CHANGES are coming our way for the 2024-2025 school year!! With the recent school closures, our school Indian Trail, is excited to open our doors to new staff and students. What a better way to do this than remodel the existing teacher's lounge for a fresh start. So that's where myself (Lauren Jurasits) and (Deanna Santoro) threw out the idea to our principal!!!
Our SECRET goal for this project is to transform our gloomy, cramped, old teacher's lounge into a fresh, inviting, collaborative space we ALL love!
Our current teacher's lounge is home to two copy machines, the laminator, committee storage cabinets, tons of tables, and the endless FREE "Teacher Junk Pile" It needs a much loved makeover!
Our idea is to warm up this space with a Modern Farmhouse vibe. We can't wait to have a beautiful divider that would separate our work space from our eating area. We are thrilled to paint the space, add beautiful tables, storage shelves, various seating options, and a coffee bar!! WE ARE TEACHERS WE SURVIVE ON COFFEE!!!
