Much Needed Supplies and Materials For Our Classroom

My Project
My students are eager, hard working, compassionate, and joyful learners. They have been working so hard this entire year trying to fill the gap in learning from covid. Majority of my students come from low income households where their families work more than one job to survive in Hawaii's high cost of living and low wages. I cannot ask parents for donations to the classroom when they only have enough to support and care for their family.
Throughout the school year we have run out of supplies and many of our materials are worn out or broken.
Our current claw machine is broken and my students are devastated. This machine was used as a reward for students completing their reading and math homework. All of my students look forward to the end of the month where we celebrate their work and they get a chance with the claw machine to win a prize.
We also have no more soccer or volleyballs for recess because they have popped or have been lost over the fence of our campus. My students look forward to recess where they can take a break from learning and try out new sports and get their energy rate going.
In addition to that, our dry erasers are worn down and not erasing, and the name tags on our desks are falling apart. My students work so hard and deserve supplies and materials that work and help with their learning.
