My Project

Hello! I am the new developmental learning center (DLC) teacher at my school! It's been a crazy year in the JMS DLC room, so much so, that I'm the 4th teacher this year. Because of this, I want to give my students a revamped classroom where they are excited to come and learn every day.

My goal is to provide my students with a sensory room with mats, fidget toys, and floor tiles where they can go to relax, calm down, have a safe place, or just take a moment to themselves.

A little about my classroom, DLC is an individualized multidisciplinary education program that serves students with developmental disabilities. I currently have 5 students in my class, but we will be doubling in size next school year! Come along on this exciting new adventure with me!
