Much Needed MacBook to Aid in Students’ Development

Help me give my students a much more impactful e-learning experience as a result of being able to present my lessons to them a lot more effectively and efficiently using a MacBook Air.

My Students

I teach on the west side of Chicago, where a lot of my students have not had the positive life learning experiences that all students should experience, in order to help them grow as life long learners. All of my students come from low socioeconomic backgrounds and a large majority of my students are raised by either a single parent or by their grandparents. Despite all of these obstacles, my students want to succeed and they support that you can give to them will be greatly appreciated.

My Project

This device will greatly help my students and myself by being better equipped to meet their needs for E-Learning as well as for in class instruction. My current device is out dated and it doesn’t have a camera, which would allow my students to see me presenting my lessons to them. The students will greatly benefit from this since the school year will e-learning for the fall semester and they will need to be able to see me presenting them my daily lessons. Furthermore, students will be able to use this device in class when researching material in the classroom as well as presenting materials to their peers online or in a classroom by using an Elmo & projector. This device will also greatly help me with preparing my lesson and unit plans much more efficiently and effectively, where my current device will not allow me to do so.
