Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach first grade in a Title I public school in a low-income area of the Bronx with over 95% of our students receiving free lunch.
Although many of my students face adversity, their challenges do not define their ability to learn and be successful.
I teach thirty-three of the sweetest and most eager six-year-olds. Their desire to learn in the midst of a pandemic has not dwindled.
This project request is for a Teachers Pay Teachers gift card so I have the opportunity to purchase materials to help support my students as they are returning back into my classroom.
Providing students with engaging literacy and math activities and resources will continue to make their learning FUN!
A gift card from Teachers Pay Teachers will allow me to purchase a variety of digital activities and printable resources that I could provide for my students. These activities and resources will also provide me with the opportunity to differentiate my students' instruction. Your support will give my students the best opportunity to bridge the gap in their learning and help them get back on track.
