This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My students are very special and are very positive and willing to learn, especially if there are hands-on activities, educational games, science projects, or they use technology. Our class is based on blended lessons which apply technology and paper-based work.
My students are bilingual and live in a low-income area.
Some of the students come from Mexico because we have a border with them. The school tries to give the best it can so the students can be prepared for the world, and we are a STEM school and use the blended learning technique.
The district has a low budget to provide the required technology and supplies that are needed for a better classroom environment, organization, or learning experience. Thank you.
My Project
I share a classroom with a colleague to give ESL classes. This year we got double the students and we barely fit because we have classes at the same time!
I just have two desks that are not great space savers and students have a small space for them on each one.
We need the desks that can fit 3 students on each, so they can work on smaller groups and can focus during the class.
It will be great to have different seating tables, so students can have their own space to work even when there is a small classroom to share.
