My Project

I absolutely love my students’ curiosity, resilience, and the unique ways each of them approaches learning. They come to school eager to explore, create, and make sense of the world, and my goal is always to provide tools that help every child shine in their own way.

The resources I’m requesting will directly support their growth:

• Flexible seating chairs: Many of my learners focus best when they have the option to move, wobble, or reposition their bodies. Flexible seating helps them regulate their energy, stay engaged during lessons, and take ownership of how they learn best.

• Crayons: These simple tools encourage creativity, fine-motor development, and expressive thinking. Whether students are illustrating stories, labeling diagrams, or participating in hands-on learning centers, crayons help them communicate their ideas confidently.

• Scissors: Cutting activities build essential fine-motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and independence. Scissors allow students to engage in interactive projects, practice precision, and bring their learning to life through crafts, sorting tasks, and graphic organizers.

• Whiteboards: Individual whiteboards are powerful tools for explicit instruction. They allow students to practice skills in real time, show their thinking during math and literacy lessons, and receive immediate feedback. Whiteboards also make learning active and accessible for a wide range of learners.

Together, these resources will help my students learn in ways that are hands-on, engaging, and responsive to their diverse needs. Everything on this list supports my belief that when students feel comfortable, creative, and confident, they can achieve anything.
