Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
This list is full of the basic classroom supplies that students need in order to be engaged in their learning. A majority of students to not have the access to these supplies. I want to lessen the burdens on students so that they can focus on their learning.
When students show up without basic necessities like pencils and pens, it makes classroom instruction and engagement a struggle.
I want to provide a supply of school essentials for easy access and transitions between different instructional activities. Having class sets that students can share will allow for more instruction time. I wouldn’t have to coordinate with different teachers to borrow markers, scissors, and rulers when we are doing individual or group projects. Overall, these essentials will make instruction easier to obtain since students will have the tools necessary to participate.
