How This Resource Will Help

My students are bright, creative, and full of potential.

They come from diverse backgrounds and bring unique perspectives to the classroom every day. What makes them truly special is their resilience—they continue to show up and try their best, even when facing challenges outside of school. I want to create a space that not only supports their academic growth but also nurtures their self-worth and confidence.

This project will provide students with access to a Hygiene and Stationery Cart, stocked with essential school supplies (notebooks, pencils, pens, folders) and personal hygiene items (deodorant, toothpaste, combs, and feminine care products). These items may seem small, but they make a big difference. When students don’t have to worry about basic needs, they’re better able to focus, participate, and succeed in class. Having what they need allows them to walk into school with confidence—feeling prepared, cared for, and ready to learn.

My goal is to create a supportive and stigma-free environment where students can take what they need, when they need it. I believe every student deserves the tools to succeed and the dignity of feeling clean and confident. This cart will help remove unnecessary barriers to learning, while showing students that they are seen, valued, and supported every step of the way.
