Ms. Tay's Math Mellow Room

Help me give my students opportunities to have differentiated learning by making sure they are comfortable and feel ready to learn in my math classroom with standing desks and other items.

My Project

Through multiple types of desks, I am able to accommodate all of my students learning styles. Math is a difficult subject, and I work with a lot of different students with different needs. I believe differentiated classroom setups and instruction are necessary for today's young students to ALL have the opportunity for a stellar and effective learning experience.

95 percent of teachers and 100 percent of administrators agree that differentiation is an important instructional strategy.

With these items, students will be able to be hands on with their decimals, and get a great, interactive introduction to creating graphs. The main part of this donation will go toward differentiated learning spaces for my students, including a calm corner (with bean bag chairs), to tower testers (standing desks).

I am very excited to teach 4th grade math, and I want my students to know their needs matter. Anything counts! Together, we will build a brighter future. Thank you so much.
