This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Due to COVID, my students are in need of tactile, tangible resources more than ever before. As a Title I school, our efforts as educators may be the only positive interactions our students have each day. I strive to make my classroom an inviting and comfortable place that my students want to be in and look forward to. As English language learners, many of whom fled their home countries for a better life in America, fostering their love of learning and providing books they can relate to is crucial to their development and future.
