My Project

My name is Ms. Seiferth and I am so excited to have my own classroom! After three years of teaching in fourth-grade ICT, I am excited to be moving to fifth-grade self-contained. Although moving classrooms and having my own room is a dream come true, it is one that comes with new challenges and opportunities as I begin to prepare to provide my students with the best learning environment. My students come from low socio-economic backgrounds and often show up to school with few school supplies. Most families come to the United States from South America in order to seek job opportunities and new beginnings. The materials you send will allow me to help them to remain organized through the use of color coding and provide them with the school supplies they need to learn such as sharpeners, index cards, file folders, pencil cases, and pocket charts to display their sight words.

I teach in a Title I school in NYC and want to provide my students with all of the materials they need to be successful!

I often spend thousands of dollars providing my students with books, pencils, backpacks, snacks, and so much more! In order to help me prepare for my own classroom and plan for a successful school year, I am asking for help in purchasing the following materials/supplies for my students. These materials will help my special education students to remain organized and have what they need to achieve success.
