My Project
Hello!
Thank you for visiting "Ms. Robinson's Reading and Writing Project." The goal supplies on this list will help the students who are in my reading and writing class periods receive additional support, collaborate with their peers on projects and in class, participate in educational activities, build their vocabulary knowledge, and organize themselves better.
For example, the headphones with microphones will act as a way to help the students record their podcasts without worrying about additional noise taking attention from their audience. Nevertheless, the headphones also work as a supportive tool for students who struggle with reading and need to use text-to-speech aids. The audio splitter allows students to collaborate with their peers on reading assignments, as they can read texts together and at the same time use the audio splitter.
The index cards, folders, and laminator will help the students create study aids for their common roots, prefixes, and suffixes assignments. It will also allow them to keep up with this study material when transitioning from class to class and at home. The boards will work as a collaborative aid or for games that are played as a group within the class, to provide a more entertaining way of presenting material. It will also act as a way for the students to be able to write out their thoughts and receive feedback without having to permanently write on paper, which is often seen as daunting to the students.
This would help my students tremendously, as they are hardworking and constantly yearning for new projects and study aids to help them within the class and showcase their knowledge. However, it is often hard for them to acquire these supplies on their own due to monetary issues or insufficient supplies.
