Help me give my students the tools to increase their social emotional skills, as well as their organizational skills.

My Students

My first graders have been working very hard this school year to catch up with the "covid slide." We are making progress in reading and math. Many of my students come from a low income household, some students are English Language Learners and reduced lunch recipients. Our school is a Title I school.

My Project

During covid learning, I have seen many students struggle with social emotional learning.

I would like to be able to better help my students understand their emotions and proper ways to cope with their emotions through daily read alouds.

I also requested some organizational products, like the mail cubbies and pencil pouches. This will help my students to become organized and declutter their areas, which will promote a good learning environment.

Lastly, students spend a lot of time on chromebooks participating in reading and math programs and over the years, I need to provide new headphones to my students so that they are able to work on these programs.
