My Project
This will be my 3rd year teaching ELA at my school, and I’m so excited to welcome a new group of middle schoolers into a space that feels truly ready for them. My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of energy—they deserve a classroom that reflects the care and effort they bring to learning each day.
Right now, many of our desks are old, wobbly, and not suited for collaborative or focused learning.
With new, comfortable desks, my goal is to create a classroom that supports movement, choice, and engagement. These desks will allow students to sit comfortably, work in flexible groups, and feel more ownership of their learning environment.
More than anything, I want my students to walk into our room and feel proud of where they learn. A fresh, functional space shows them that they matter—and that someone believes in the power of their education.
