Help me provide my students with supplies they need to be the best artists they can be! The art department NEEDS cleaning supplies. This year, we can be working with messy materials such as paint, clay, glue, ect. While the arts needs other supplies as well, for now it is a priority we get these cleaning supplies. I try to buy in bulk so the supplies last longer. Also, being a teacher on wheels, I want to make sure I leave the classrooms the same way I came in.
In addition to needing cleaning supplies, the arts department needs copy paper.
I develop work sheets for my students to practice art vocabulary, drawing techniques, and writing prompts for their assignments.
While teaching elementary on a beautiful campus, I want to encourage my students to get out of the classroom to create. The clipboards and rulers are a great tool to encourage my students to draw outside during class room. The first unit my students will be learning about is drawing. I want to inspire my students by getting outside the building and draw the environment around them.
