My Students

My students are always eager to learn and they want to be successful. Many of them grow up in single parent households or with a relative other than a parent. Due to the student's economic background status, 100% of the students receive free lunch. Despite the hardships that the students may face, they are always ready to learn.

Although I can not control what goes on in their home life, I am able to ensure that they come to school with a welcoming environment.

My Project

The materials and supplies that I am requesting are needed in order for my students to be successful this school year. My students use paper in the classroom to complete class work and at home to complete homework assignments. Pencils are used daily both in the classroom and at home. Arts and craft projects are done in class to enhance learning. My students love to use dry erase markers on their white boards during the instructional time as well as during centers. We use basic school supplies daily.

My students need to have materials available for them to learn on a daily basis.
