My Project
As a first grade teacher, I understand the importance of having the right supplies and materials in the classroom. The items I have chosen to request include headphones, storage space, rewards, privacy folders, social emotional items, white boards, and office supplies.
Headphones are an essential item for the classroom, as they can be used for a variety of activities.
Students can use headphones to listen to and follow along with audio recordings, play educational games online, or take part in educational videos. They can also be used in small group settings to increase student engagement, reduce distractions, and help to promote better focus.
Storage space is also important, as it allows me to organize my classroom and keep items like textbooks, manipulatives, and supplies in an orderly manner. I can also use this space to store reward items that I can use to reinforce positive behavior in my students.
Rewards are an important part of the classroom, as they help to motivate and encourage positive behavior. Rewards can take the form of verbal praise, stickers, or even small prizes. I can also use rewards to give students incentives to complete assignments or reach certain goals.
Privacy folders are a great way to promote student privacy. These folders can be used to store student assignments, tests, and other materials. They can also be used to store student information or documents that are confidential.
Social emotional items are also important in the classroom. These items can help students learn to better understand their emotions, manage and express their feelings, and build relationships with their peers. Examples of social emotional items include books, games, and activities that promote social emotional learning.
White boards are a great tool for teaching and can be used by students as well.
