Ms. McWalter's First Year Teaching Wish List

Help me give my students a fully stocked classroom for their successful 2025-2026 school year. These students are our future!

FULLY FUNDED! Ms. McWalter's classroom raised $180

My Project

With this being my first year teaching high school Biology, I am excited to help guide these students as we work together to create a welcoming environment. Every item added to this wish list will directly support every student that walks into my classroom. The items I added to my list have positive contributions to the classroom, such as the water Brita filter, dry erase markers, sanitizing material, anchor chart, and a white board remote.

Having this opportunity to create this wish list for my classroom is a blessing itself and I truly appreciate this opportunity to advocate for my students.

The water Brita filter will be a useful tool for students who may not access to clean water at home or access at all. We do not know what students go through and the best I can do for them is be prepared. Dry erase markers will be used by the students to interactively participate in class, the goal is to create a student centered classroom where everyone feels included. Having sanitizing material will benefit the health of my students as well as decreasing the amount of time spent out of the classroom. Biology is a difficult subject on its own and adding visuals will help my students visual remember processes and cycles, as well as being personal showing them I am investing in them. Finally a white board remote will be able to have better proximity of my classroom making it more accessible to help students in the moment.

I want to express my gratitude once more and I appreciate taking your time to consider donating to the future generation and having faith in me. I look forward to this school year. Thank you Ms. McWalter
