My Project

I teach a mixed abilities/ categorical classroom in middle school. My students are mostly autistic with several being nonverbal. We need a safe and calming place for all of us to learn. We have a calm down area that is in need of some new bean bag stuffing. Also need items we can learn and talk about our emotions. Keeping ourselves safe and those around us safe is my top priority. Working with first/ then charts and teaching students to become more independent is a goal of mine as well. Teaching students what the expectations are and thank you for your help!
