My Project
My classroom is a safe and supportive space for students with autism, where every day is a step toward growth, confidence, and connection. My goal is to create an environment that nurtures not just academic learning, but emotional and social development too.
To support my students in the most meaningful way, I am requesting a few key items:
A color printer to bring learning materials to life. Visuals are essential for my students — they help with comprehension, engagement, and communication.
A classroom keepers mailbox to promote organization and independence. Each student will have their own space for personal materials, helping them feel a sense of ownership and structure.
Buckets and caddies to keep our learning tools tidy and accessible during small-group and sensory activities.
The book It’s Okay Not to Be Okay, will help us have important conversations about feelings and mental health in a gentle, affirming way.
Every item on this list has been chosen with love and intention to meet the unique needs of my students. Your support will help us create a classroom that celebrates who they are and gives them what they need to thrive.
